About Us
The Story
CHORAL ARCHITEKTUR was founded in Cologne, Germany, in 2016, as the extension of Choral Architecture Studio which was founded in 2003 in Istanbul, Turkey. In addition, the offices extend their range with partnerships in Washington and Moscow. Since its establishment, Choral Architecture has aimed to be the most qualified architectural office in Turkey with more than 10 team members. The firm continues its practice at the offices in Istanbul and Cologne with projects that range from factory buildings occupying thousands of square meters, to trade exhibition stands of only fifty square meters.
The firm continues its practice also in international and national architecture competitions and have been shortlisted and awarded from some of them.
The group also has a considerable presence in academic world. The founder, İbrahim Yöreş has been active at various schools of architecture with jury lectures, jury contributions and studio tutorage such as Yıldız Technical University.
